Walker Evans Magazine
This project was a task in the uni. We were asked to create a magazine
based on an artist of any kind. I chose Walker Evans because I like how amazing
and meaningful his photographs are and some of his photos seem to talk to you and I like that.
I tried to choose the font, so it matches the look of the photos.
I picked a slab serif font for the headlines to shows a classic and a modern look.
I chose for the body text a sans serif font, to create better readability and contrast.
I also made a booklet, where I explained all my chooses and decisions,
like what kind of layout and grid or which fonts I used and why. The booklet is
based on the magazine and had the same fonts and grid chooses.
